Thanks to his large experience, operations carried out by
Dr. Toncic have become a routine. Nevertheless, the approach
to each patient is individual. Knowledge of various surgical
methods enables Dr. Toncic to choose the most appropriate
procedure for solving your aesthetic problem.
Dr. Rajko Toncic graduated in 1972 from the Faculty of Medicine,
University of Zagreb. Having obtained his degree, he specialized
in otorhinolaryngology and the pertaining part of plastic
surgery at the renowned University Clinic for Otorhinolaryngology
in Cologne.
Specialization completed, he stayed on in Germany working
as a resident specializing in general surgery (a year and
a half), which enabled him to improve and extend his knowledge
of surgery in everyday practice.
Upon
his return to Zagreb in 1981, he worked for six years at the
Clinic for Otorhinolaryngology of the Clinical Hospital "
Sisters of Mercy". Having acquired ample surgical experience,
he opened his privat surgery in 1987 which, owing to the high
level of services rendered and Dr. Toncic`s proficiency, attracted
a large number of patients. Dr. Toncic obtained his master`s
degree in Zagreb in 1996.
Dr. Toncic has perfected his knowledge of plastic surgery
at the most eminent plastic surgery institutions in the USA.
He regularly attends all major world conferences and seminars
on cosmetic surgery. He is a frequent guest of the well-known
Manhattan Clinic for Plastic Surgery, New York, as well as
of similar institutions in Chicago and Cleveland.
Dr. Toncic is a member of several national associations for
otorhinolaryngology and cosmetic surgery as well as the European
Association for Cosmetic Surgery. In 1999 Dr. Toncic visited
The Clinic of Professor Ivo Pitanguy, in Rio de Janeiro. There
he observed prof. Pitanguy and his team performing different
types of aesthetic operations.
