Mr. Sc. Dr. Rajko Tončić

Dr. Rajko Tončić has been routinely performing aesthetic procedures for over 35 years but has always maintained an individual approach to all of his patients. His extensive experience and knowledge of different surgical methods allow Dr. Rajko Tončić to choose the most suitable one for every aesthetic problem.
Mr. sc. Dr. Rajko Tončić graduated in 1972 from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb.

After graduating from his studies, he specialized in otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery at the renowned University Clinic of Otorhinolaryngology in Cologne.

After finishing his specialization, he continues to work in FR Germany, where during the year and a half he specializes in general surgery, which, in addition to his daily practice, further expands and enriches his surgical knowledge.

After returning to Zagreb in 1981, he works at the Clinic for Otorhinolaryngology at the Clinical Hospital "Sestre milosrdnice" for six years. Having gained extensive surgical experience, in 1987 he opened the first private practice for aesthetic surgery in this area- Thanks to the high level of professionalism and expertise, Dr. Rajko Tončić gained the trust of numerous patients.

After years of successful surgical practice, Dr. Tončić decided to establish an eponymous clinic at a prestigious location in Zagreb in an exclusive facility in Mlinovi.

Dr. Rajko Tončić continues to evolve and develop new surgical methods, like his acclaimed method of protruding ear correction, published in a specialized medical journal, or his revolutionary nose correction technique that enables quick recovery.

The latest technique used by our dr. Rajko Tončić is the revolutionary short vertical incision technique, applied in breast reduction and breast lift surgery, which leaves a minimal scar and thus shortens the recovery period.
Dr. Tončić perfected his skills and knowledge in plastic and aesthetic surgery at some of the top institutions for aesthetic and plastic surgery in the USA. He regularly attends the world's most important congresses and seminars in cosmetic surgery. He is a frequent guest at the renowned Aesthetic Surgery Clinic in Manhattan, New York, as well as institutions of the same type in Chicago and Cleveland. He is a member of various national and international associations for otorhinolaryngology and plastic surgery.

In 1999, Dr. Tončić visited the Clinic of prof. Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro, where he got introduced to surgical methods being used by prof. Pitanguya and got the chance to work closely with his team and further expand his knowledge.
